Additionally, you get a booming 310 hp at 5,600 rpm and 420 lb.-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm with the 2.7L engine. This power is made possible through Active Fuel Management, direct injection, and auto start/stop, active thermal management.

Even with this truck’s amazing capability, you still get great fuel efficiency. With a regular cab, standard bed four-wheel-drive with the 2.7L engine, you will get 18 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. If you choose a crew cab, it gets even better – the Silverado 2.7L engine Crew Cab models get 19 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
