The first of the towing features is an air suspension system that can lower the truck bed, if necessary. It makes hitching up gooseneck, fifth wheel, and conventional trailers easy. Ram offers a 360-degree surround view camera and a trailer prep camera, which work together to give a full view of the surroundings of your Ram truck. If you worry about blind spots, Ram offers available trailer tow mirrors with spotter lamps. They are mounted on arms that can be folded out, which gives you a wide view when driving the trailer.

In addition, Ram offers a forward collision warning system, which operates through sensors on the front of the truck that sense when a vehicle is closer than your pre-selected distance, then automatically slows down, and alerts you with both visual and audio warnings.  

With the Trailer Steering knob located in the center stack, you can easily control the direction of your trailer as you back up. The system will then take control of the truck’s steering wheel, allowing you to maneuver the trailer with ease. This system will make reversing a breeze, saving you time and effort. 

If you ever run into bad driving conditions, Ram has you covered with available Electronic Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control. You will stay aware of your trailer’s status with available Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring.
