Explore the 2017 Buick Enclave for Sale in Paris, KY
The classy looking Buick Enclave returns for 2017 with the same look and features. The one addition for the new year is a new Sport Touring edition with a slightly different look. This three-row SUV is great for large families or for those who need to haul gear. Here is what you need to know about the 2017 model.
Trim Levels
There are three trim levels to choose from with the 2017 Enclave. The base level Convenience trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels and rear privacy glass. It also has automatic xenon headlights and a power liftgate. The next step up is the Leather trim with all the same exterior features as the Convenience but with leather interior. The top-level Premium trim has 19-inch chrome finished alloy wheels and adaptive headlights. The mirrors have a power-folding feature along with an auto dimmer on the driver’s side.
Engine
All three trim levels come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. This will produce 288 horsepower and get 270 lb-ft of torque. They also come with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, but you can opt for all-wheel drive on the Leather and Premium trims. When you choose the towing package, it can haul up to 4,500 pounds.
Performance
This is a large vehicle with a large engine. It has an EPA estimate of 18 mpg combined with an average of 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway with the front-wheel drive. Choosing the all-wheel drive will lower these numbers slightly. The Enclave offers a smooth ride with responsive handling. For a large vehicle, it stays reasonably upright when driving on curvy roads, and inside the cabin passengers enjoy a very quiet ride.
Interior
Inside the 2017 Enclave, you’ll find a roomy and comfortable cabin. The dash has a padded vinyl trim with a contrasting stitching to give it the look of an upscale vehicle, and there is a 6.5-inch touchscreen with the IntelliLink infotainment center. There is plenty of legroom for the front seat passenger and the second row, and there is enough space in the rear for adult passengers. The amount of cargo space in the Enclave sets it apart from other large SUVs even with the third-row seats up. When you fold both rows down it is large enough to haul bulky items or even move furniture.
Safety Features
The Enclave comes standard with antilock brakes and stability and traction control. The side curtain air bags run the length of the vehicle, and there are also front seat side air bags. All the trims come with the OnStar system with automatic crash notification and roadside assistance, and the Leather and Premium trims come standard with rear-cross traffic alert and blind spot warning. Just the Premium comes standard with forward collision alert and a lane departure warning system, but you can choose these as an option on the Leather trim.
