2017 Chevy Camaro
The 2017 Corvette is an astounding work of automotive brilliance, combining impeccable performance tuning and classy comfort features with thrilling powertrains. The diverse models and options each have their own advantages, but no 2017 Corvette falls short in any capacity. Find a Corvette and give it a try, because this refined and classic model must be experienced firsthand.

Trim Levels

The Corvette is a family of three models: the accessible Stingray, lightweight and sharpened Grand Sport, and potent Z06 which is coming soon. As the most accessible model, we’ll be discussing the Corvette Stingray primarily. All versions of the Corvette have three trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT, with a Z51 performance package offered on all levels of the Stringray and Grand Sport. Each trim offers its own preferred equipment group, and the 3LT adds performance information tracking and a navigation system.

Available as a coupe or convertible, the Corvette is attractive in both styles, with a decidedly modern rear and the classic low-riding form. The aluminum frame keeps the Corvette light, and there are a massive amount of exterior customization options spread between the different models and trim levels. 18-inch front and 19-inch rear silver painted aluminum wheels are standard.

Engine

Two engines are available among 2017 Corvette models. Features in the Stingray and Grand Sport is a 6.2-liter V8 with 455 horsepower, 420 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 time as low as 3.7 seconds, or 3.6 in the Grand Sport. The soon-to-come 2017 Corvette Z06 will likely come with the more powerful engine seen in the 2016 version: a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 650 horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque, and a jaw-dropping 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds.

Performance

All Corvette Stingray models have an addictive, heart-pounding performance. That said, the Stringray is best suited to those who will occasionally visit the track, the Z06 is for someone who hits the track often, and the Grand Sport fits between the two. The Z51 package upgrades all parts of the suspension and adds other useful features like performance exhaust notes and rear-differential cooling.

Interior

All versions of the Corvette start out with top-tier cabin features. It’s up to the driver to decide how much farther they want to go. The Stingray offers Jet Black leather seating over competition sport bucket front seats, but GT bucket seats with mulan leather are standard. Two-tone seating is optional on the 2LT or 3LT.

As for technology, both the 1LT and 2LT use an eight-inch Chevy MyLink infotainment screen, and all models have push-button ignition and keyless entry. A Bose nine-speaker audio system, OnStar service, and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities are standard, while higher trims get a ten-speaker Bose system and other improvements.

Safety Features

Along with the latest passive security features, all 2017 Corvette models have a rearview backup camera, while the 2LT and 3LT include a front curb camera as well, for perfect parking every time. To protect your highly desirable Corvette from theft, 1LT models have an engine immobilizer, while higher trims have a tamper-shielded alarm system. Higher trims also include a tilt sensor to set an alarm if someone tries to jack or tow the Corvette while the driver is gone.
