Insane Capability

The 2023 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Rebel will feature a choice between two engines: a 6.4L Hemi V8 engine or an available 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine.

The 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine will have amazing responsiveness and impressive torque, making the Rebel a tremendous towing vehicle with a maximum towing capacity of 14,290 lb. and a max payload of 1,970 lb.

The standard engine will be a 6.4L Hemi V8 engine, which will use Variable-Cam Timing to deliver 401 hp. It will have a booming maximum towing capacity of 16,780 lb., with a maximum payload of 3,140 lb. The eight-speed automatic transmission will offer a new level of refinement that is hard to find in heavy-duty trucks. It will have a fully electronic operation and on-the-fly shift mapping.

Features to Make Towing Easy

Towing will be made easier than ever with new Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirrors, which will feature rear and forward-facing utility lighting. They will also be able to extend and retract to offer maximum visibility when towing and more flexibility when parking in smaller spots.

In early 2023, the Trailer Reverse Steering Control system will be available, allowing you to steer with the Trailer Steering knob as the system controls the truck’s steering wheel.

Your viewing range will also be enhanced with the Digital Rearview mirror. It will have new side camera integration that features an LCD monitor that provides a video stream from a rear-facing camera. When you pair it with the new available extended mirror camera, the mirror will give you a view of the areas to the left and right of your trailer.

Off-Road Ready for Kentucky Adventures

The new Ram Heavy Duty Rebel will join the Power Wagon, Ram 1500 TRX, and Ram 1500 Rebel to reinforce Ram’s off-road leadership with the most capable production off-road trucks in the industry.

The Heavy-Duty Rebel will pair Bilstein Gas-Charged Monotube Shocks with a five-link rear coil suspension to give you a smooth ride on trails. To protect your truck, Ram added substantial skid plates underneath to protect the transfer case and the fuel tank. With the available 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine, a fuel tank brush guard also offers added protection.

The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel will have 11.1 in. of ground clearance, 33 in. All-Terrain tires, and 20 in. black diamond cut aluminum wheels, which make it ready for any Kentucky off-roading trail.

A limited-slip differential will prevent loss of traction and help to optimize engine power. In deep sand, heavy snow, or mud, you will be able to switch to 4WD Low and electronically lock the rear split differential for even torque distribution and enhanced traction.

Comfortable, Rugged, and Tech-Filled Interior

You do not have to sacrifice tech features for power in the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel. There will be a new 12-in. digital cluster that offers off-road pages, tow information, and the ability to adjust wheel articulation with full-color 3D graphics. In addition, there will be an available Uconnect5 NAV 12 in. touchscreen for all lovers of modern technology.

Ram will offer the ability to choose a combination of Gore-Tex and mesh premium cloth or Natura Plus leather-trimmed bucket seats to keep you comfortable. The interior will feature edgy REBEL embroidery and a custom black door trim to keep in line with the sporty aesthetic of the vehicle.
